A unique audio visual collaboration between Video Nation and Scoil Mhuire, Abbeyleix, Co Laois where the students workshopped subjects related to Abbeyleix history with our experienced teacher and filmmaker Liam Delaney.

3 subjects were chosen and developed into short documentaries, filmed by the students and edited by our filmmaker. Students got the chance to work with new tools and learn entirely new skills. They also experienced working together to construct an audio visual story, from idea stage, through production to online distribution.

The goal is to introduce them to the skills and tools they will need in the future in order to make their voices heard online and to set them on a path to using their online presence in a more constructive manner.
